Live Sound & Mobile Recording

Coursework:
Level 1
In this first part of the course, we will work exclusively inside the controlled environment of the acoustically treated recording studio, while focusing on foundational knowledge and concepts of Live Sound engineering.
Level 2
Beginning on the 5th week, our learning will take place outside of the studio in a live space where we will begin to experiment and apply the knowledge gained during Level 1.
Level 3
This final level of the course will test your knowledge from Levels 1 and 2, and will involve assessment of your ability to execute proper setup and operation of equipment, as well as the sound check process, and mixing techniques for both monitors and front of house (FOH).
